Introduction to Luoluo tune of Lingqiu
Applicant: Lingqiu County, Shanxi Province
Luoluo tune is a kind of opera popular in Lingqiu County and its surrounding areas in Shanxi Province. It evolved from Yiyang tune, flourished in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, and gradually declined from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. Luoluo tune is sung by one person at the front stage, and people help to sing in the backstage. The sound of "Luoluo Yo Yo" comes from it.
Luoluo tune has a long history and ancient form. There are some early traditional tunes in it, such as Wazi, caiqiang and shanpo sheep. In the long-term development process, its singing structure is constantly changing. There are more than ten kinds of traditional music singing in Luoluo tune, such as throwing board, numeral, flowing water, flat board, stacking board, scattered board, Wazi, crying tune, Qiqiang, etc. In its singing, there is a special structure of organic combination of Qupai singing and plate singing, such as a set of songs composed of throwing board, numerals and flowing water, etc. In the singing of Luoluo tune, the false voice "playing tune" is often used at the end of each sentence. Its accompaniment is special, "singing without accompaniment", and the instrument enters at the end of each sentence.
In the development of Luoluo opera, a number of traditional operas have been formed, including more than 40 representative operas, such as Feitian gate, paijin cupboard, Shentu, xiaoerjie Mengmeng, brocade, Longbao temple, black donkey suing, lianglangshan, Yangjiajiang, Luotong sweeping north, etc. Luoluo tune provides living materials for understanding the traditional opera and the law of its development and change. The ancient Luoluo opera has fallen into a survival dilemma in modern society. Due to the lack of funds, the performance market is shrinking, and the actors are losing. The Luoluo opera troupe of Lingqiu County, established in 1960, is the only professional performance group left. Now it's time to rescue and protect this precious drama.
