Liguo Street

Liguo street is located in Liguo town in the north of Tongshan District, within the scope of Xuzhou Liguo iron mine, 45 kilometers away from the city center. It covers an area of 7.75 square kilometers and has a population of 5215 (2010).

Street information

It was established in 1965. In 1997, it covers an area of 8.8 square kilometers and has a population of 8000. It has jurisdiction over five neighborhood committees, namely, Li Guo, Li Min, Li Qun, Yangshan and Xinjian. It is adjacent to the Beijing Hangzhou canal in the north, Weishan Lake in the west, Beijing Shanghai railway and 104 National Highway in the East. It governs one community in Liguo. The office is located in Liguo mine. Liguo iron mine has a long history of mining, the ore contains high iron, low phosphorus and sulfur, accompanied by gold, silver, copper, cobalt and other elements.
