Jiaping town
Jiaping Town, subordinate to Jiangjin District of Chongqing, is located in the south of Jiangjin district. It borders Yongxin town and Zhongfeng town of Qijiang District in the East, Caijia town in the south, Lishi town in the West and Xihu town in the north. It is 46km away from the people's Government of Jiangjin District, with a total area of 88.96km2.
In 1371, Jiaping town belonged to Qingping township of Jiangjin County; in December 1993, it was changed from Jiaping township to Jiaping town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Jiping town was 24799. As of June 2020, Jiaping town has one community and seven administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Jiaping town is located at 56 Jianshe Road, Qingping community.
In 2018, Jiaping town had 15 industrial enterprises and 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. Agriculture
History of construction
Ming Hongwu four years (1371), the territory is Jiangjin County Qingping township.
In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to zhuxili; in the second year of Xuantong (1910), the town and township autonomous association was established, belonging to Jiaping Township, the 12th capital.
In 1935, it belonged to Jiaping Township, the second district. In 1941, Qingping township was established.
In August 1958, Qingping township was changed into Qingping commune.
In June 1980, Qingping commune changed its name to Jiaping commune.
In March 1984, Jiaping commune was changed into Jiaping township.
In December 1993, it was changed from Jiaping township to Jiaping town.
In March 2001, yuetuo township was merged into Jiaping town.
