Guantun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dashiqiao City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north central part of Dashiqiao City. It is connected with Yingluo Town, Haicheng City, Anshan City in the East, Tangchi town in the southeast, Nanlou Economic Development Zone in the south, Qinghua street in the Southwest, Huzhuang town in the West and Maoqi Town, Anshan City in the north, with an administrative area of 91.8 square kilometers.
Before liberation, it belonged to Haicheng County; in November 1992, Guantun township was changed into town, which belonged to Yingkou County; in November 1992, Yingkou county was changed into Dashiqiao City, which belonged to Dashiqiao City. By the end of 2018, the population of Guan Tun Town registered residence was 31268. As of June 2020, Guantun town has one community and 13 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Guantun town was 350 million yuan, an increase of 12% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 90 million yuan, an increase of 8% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 11431 yuan. In 2018, there were 255 industrial enterprises in Guantun Town, of which 35 were large-scale and 55 were comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before liberation, it belonged to Haicheng county.
In April 1946, Yingkou county was established and put under the jurisdiction of Yingkou county.
In October 1947, the water diversion district (renamed Guantun District in December of the same year) was established, belonging to Yingkou county.
In June 1950, Guantun district was renamed Second District, belonging to Yingkou county.
In August 1955, Guantun district was restored and its subordinate relationship remained unchanged.
In March 1956, Guantun district was abolished and set as a township, belonging to Yingkou county.
In February 1958, Guantun township was abolished and the territory was assigned to Huzhuang district.
In September 1958, Huzhuang township was abolished and Huzhuang commune was established.
In May 1961, the territory was set off by Huzhuang commune and Guantun commune was established, belonging to Yingkou county.
In September 1983, the township system was restored, and Guantun Township belonged to Yingkou county.
In November 1992, Guantun township was transformed into a town, belonging to Yingkou county.
In November 1992, Yingkou county was changed into Dashiqiao City, belonging to Dashiqiao City.

As of June 2020, Guantun town has one community and 13 administrative villages: Fenshui community, Guantun village, shiboyu village, changjiagou village, gushantun village, Nanshan village, hejiatun village, pilusi village, Panling village, Liangzhai village, Jiaogan village, pingerfang village, qingshanhuai village and Daling village. The town people's government is stationed in Guantun village.

Guantun town is located in the north central part of Dashiqiao City.
