Yangxing town

Yangxing Town, located in the middle of Baoshan District, is a township administrative region under Baoshan District of Shanghai, with a total area of 37.91 square kilometers.

The adjacent administrative districts of Yangxing town belong to Baoshan District. From east to south, they are Youyi Road Street, Wusong street, Songnan Town, zhangmiao street, Gucun Town, Luodian town and Yuepu town.

In 2012, Yangxing town had 35 communities, 17 villages and 204020 people (in 2017), with a GDP of 8513.74 million yuan.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

History of construction

In 505, the fourth year of Liang Tianjian, Baoan Temple was built in front of and behind the West Temple in today's Yangxing town. Yang Xingdi belongs to Lou county.

During the reign of Liang Tianjian, the ancient well of Jingting in Yanghang East Street was built.

In 536, the third year of Liang Datong, Lou county was renamed Kunshan county. Yangxingdi belongs to Kunshan county.

In 589, in the ninth year of emperor kaihuang of Sui Dynasty, Xinyi County, Xinyi county and Kunshan county were abolished, and the two counties were returned to Suzhou. Yang Xingdi belongs to Suzhou.

In 1724, in the second year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty, Baoshan county was established in the east of Jiading. Yanghang factory belongs to Baoshan county.

In 1910, in the second year of Xuantong of Qing Dynasty, Yang Xing changed his factory into a township. Yangxing Township belongs to Baoshan county.

In 1949, after liberation, Yanghang area belonged to Chengxiang District, Baoshan County, Southern Jiangsu Province.

In 1953, it belongs to Baoshan County, Jiangsu Province.

On June 29, 1957, the former Baoshan county was withdrawn from the district and merged with the township. Chengxi Township, Yangdong Township, yangbei Township, Yangnan Township and Yangxing Town, which originally belonged to Chengxiang District, were merged into Yangxing township.

In January 1958, Baoshan county was under the jurisdiction of Shanghai, and Yanghang county was under the jurisdiction of Baoshan county. In September of that year, a people's commune integrating government and society was established, and Yanghang district belongs to the red flag people's commune.

In September 1959, the commune system was reformed. The red flag people's commune was divided into Wusong commune and Yangxing commune. The local people's commune was Yangxing commune. The commune, production team and production team were under two-level management.

In April 1984, the government and society were separated, and the local area was called Yangxing Township, and the Township People's government was established. At the same time, Wusong people's commune was renamed Wusong Township, and the Township People's government was established.

In April 1986, Baoshan county carried out a pilot project of the new system of "town governing village". The system of Yangxing township was abolished and Yangxing town was established.

In 1988, Baoshan county and Wusong district were merged into Baoshan District, and Yangxing town and Wusong Township were subordinate to Baoshan District.

In February 1996, Wusong township was abolished and Baoshan Town People's government was established.

In November 2000, the original Baoshan town and Yangxing town were abolished and a new Yangxing town was established.

In August 1958, the northern suburb was merged into Baoshan county. In September, the people's commune was transformed into a red flag commune.

In 1959, the scale of the commune was adjusted to Wusong commune. The red flag people's commune was divided into Wusong commune and Yangxing commune. The local people's commune was Yangxing commune. The commune, brigade and production team were managed at three levels. Under the jurisdiction of Chengxiang, Yangdong, Chenxiang three management areas, set battery, Chengzhong, zhangjianong, Chenxiang, santinggou, Sitang, Yangdong seven brigade, 1 agricultural test area. The brigades of Changchun, Maosheng, Meiyuan and Panqiao in Yuepu Township were included in Yangxing commune.

In 1961, fan Gen was transferred from Luonan commune to beizong commune, Changchun, Maosheng and Meiyuan commune to Yuepu commune, and Huzhuang commune to Gucun commune.

In 1980, the Meipu brigade demolished yangbei and guijiamu demolished Sujia. There were 13 brigades in the commune.

In 1984, the government and society were separated and Yangxing township was established. Under the jurisdiction of Dongjie village, Xijie village, Chengxi village 1, Chengxi village 2, Xinghuo village, xibang village, Qianwan village, Dahuang village, Meipu village, yangbei village, beizong village, Sujia village and guijiamu village, there are 13 villages, 129 villager groups and 1 neighborhood committee.

In 1988, Yangxing town governed 13 villages, 128 villager groups and 2 neighborhood committees; Wusong Township governed 8 villages and 52 villager groups.

In 1999, Yangxing town had 13 villages, 119 villager groups and 5 neighborhood committees; Baoshan town had 6 villages, 27 villager groups and 10 neighborhood committees.

In November 2000, the original Baoshan town and the original Yangxing town were abolished, and a new Yangxing town was established, with 18 administrative villages, 146 villager groups and villages under its jurisdiction, including Dongjie village, Xijie village, Chengxi No.1 village, Chengxi No.2 village, Xinghuo village, xibang village, Qianwan village, Dahuang Village, Meipu village, yangbei village, beizong village, Sujia village, guijiamu village, Chenxiang village, santinggou village, Baziqiao village, Yangdong village and Sitang village There are eight neighborhood committees in Yangtai, including one village and one residence, one village and two residence, two village and one residence, two village and two residence, three village and one residence, Baoqi and one residence, Tianxin and one residence, Lane 2021, Baoyang road.

Yangxing town is located in the front of the alluvial plain of the Yangtze River Delta, which is formed by the continuous deposition of the Yangtze River sediment. The land was formed more than 1300 years ago in the early Tang Dynasty. The terrain was flat without hills and mountains. The ground elevation was between 2.8 and 4.1 meters of Wusong base. From the liberation to the 1980s, water conservancy projects or embankments were built over the years to blow mud, and earthwork was accumulated to form high and flat land, mainly distributed on both sides of the river in the town.
