Laozhou Town, belonging to Zhaodong City, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Zhaodong city and on the North Bank of Songhua River. It is adjacent to Dongfa office in the East, faces each other across Songhua River in the south, borders Sizhan town in the west, and borders wuliming north bank and Liming town across Zhaodong plain reservoir in the north. The area is 185.33 square kilometers. In 2018, there were 35557 registered residence population.
In 1947, laozhoutun was divided into ten districts of alabule (Heju Village). In 1949, it belonged to nine districts and four stations. In 1956, Sanxing township was established and stationed in Laozhou village. In 1957, it was a town of four stations. In 1958, Laozhou people's commune was established.
