Qinggang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Qinggang County, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Qinggang county and the middle of Songnen Plain. It is adjacent to civil administration town in the East, zuagang Township in the south, Laodong town in the West and civil administration town in the north, with an administrative area of 60.38 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 13834 people had registered residence in Qinggang town. As of October 2019, Qinggang town has nine administrative villages.

History of construction
In 1907, the county government moved to Qinggang town. Once known as District 1, urban area and Qinggang street.
In 1949, it was named as a district and an urban area.
In 1955, Qinggang town was established.
In 1958, it was changed into Qinggang town commune.
In 1980, it was changed to Qinggang town.
In 2001, suburbs and townships were merged.

Qinggang town is located in the southern plain of Qinggang County, with flat terrain. The terrain inclines slightly from north to South without obvious height difference. There are two alkali ditches on the north and south sides of the town. There is no water in the alkali ditch at ordinary times, and there is rainwater passing through in heavy rain or rainstorm. Because of the uneven alkalinity of the soil in the ditch, the growth of alkali grass is different, and it is patchy. The average altitude is 128 meters.
