Jinzhou town
Jinzhou Town, subordinate to Jinzhou City, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of the central part of Jinzhou City, connecting Zhoujiazhuang Township in the East, donglizhuang town in the south, Xizhang village in Gaocheng District in the West and zhangduangu town in Wuji County in the north, with an administrative area of 88.97 square kilometers.
In the Sui Dynasty, it was the seat of state and county administration in successive dynasties; on January 23, 1988, it was renamed Jinzhou town; in 1996, Zhaowei, Yuantou and Dongsu were merged. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Jinzhou town was 133740. As of June 2020, Jinzhou town has jurisdiction over 43 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Xiguan village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Jinzhou town was 40.76 million yuan. In 2018, there were 616 industrial enterprises in Jinzhou Town, including 77 above scale and 120 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Sui Dynasty, it was the seat of state and county administration.
In the late Qing Dynasty, it was divided into five areas: East-West, South, North and central.
In 1939, it belonged to five districts.
In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it was an urban area; in May of the same year, Jinnan county was divided into Jinnan county and Jinbei County, and Chengguan belonged to four districts of Jinbei county.
In January 1941, Jinbei county and Shenji county were merged into jinshenji County, and Chengguan belonged to four districts.
In 1945, Jin county was restored and divided into eight districts, of which Chengguan belonged.
In May 1948, it was Chengxiang District.
In 1950, it belonged to five districts (Chengxiang District).
In 1956, it was called Chengguan Township.
In 1958, Jinzhou commune (also known as red flag commune) was established, belonging to Shulu county.
In 1962, Jinzhou commune was divided into Chengguan commune and other three communes. Jin, Shu and Shen counties were set up separately, belonging to Jin county.
On January 19, 1984, it was changed into Chengguan town.
On January 23, 1988, it was renamed Jinzhou town.
In 1996, Zhaowei, Yuantou and Dongsu were merged.
