Xichang Township

Xichang township is located in the southeast of Suo county. The township government is about 145 kilometers away from the county. the township now governs 12 villages. By the end of 2007, there were 3478 (2017). The total area of cultivated land is 237.41 hectares. The total number of livestock on hand is 10238. there are two temples in the area, namely, redun temple and Bonner temple. the altitude of Xichang township is relatively low, and there are a certain number of forest resources and wildlife resources in the area. Although the transportation of the township government is convenient, the roads leading to the villages are still rugged.
