SANDAOTONG Town, belonging to Linkou County, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Linkou county. It is adjacent to Diaoling town and Jiantang town in the East, Lianhua town and sandaohezi town in Hailin City in the south, dalomi town in Fangzheng County in the West and Dalianhe town in Yilan County in the North. The town government is stationed in a village. The area is 1198.95 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Fangzheng county and Yilan County; later, it belonged to the Fifth District of Fangzheng county and the Fifth District of Yilan County.

In 1946, it was transferred to Boli County.

In January 1947, it was the Fourth District of Diaoling county.

In January 1949, it was assigned to Linkou County, the Tenth District.

In 1956, there were 1 District, Datun Township, SANDAOTONG Township and zilazi township.

In 1957, Datun Township and zilazi Township were merged into SANDAOTONG township.

In May 1961, it was divided into SANDAOTONG commune and Lianhua commune.

SANDAOTONG town is located in the Mudanjiang River valley between zhangguangcailing and Laoyeling in the northwest of Linkou county. It connects Diaoling town and Jiantang town in the East, Lianhua town and sandaohezi town in Hailin City in the south, dalomi town in Fangzheng County in the West and Dalianhe town in Yilan County in the north. The area is 1198.95 square kilometers.

Most of SANDAOTONG town is mountainous area, and a small part is valley plain. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, with Laoyeling in the East, zhangguangcai in the west, and Mudanjiang in the middle as the boundary river between the two mountains.
