Taoshan town is located in the middle of Tieli City, the south foot of the west slope of Xiaoxing'an Mountains and the source of the upper reaches of Hulan River. It is adjacent to Lang Township in the East, Tonghe County in Harbin City in the south, Tieli town and Nianfeng Korean nationality township in the West and Gongnong Township in the north.
