Suli Township
Suli Township, belonging to Tianjun County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the north of Tianjun County, on the Bank of Shule River. It is adjacent to Muli Town, Yangkang Township and Longmen Township in the south, Delingha city in the southwest, Gansu Province and Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the northeast. In 2018, the area of Suri township was 9796.2 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 1448.
In October 2019, five animal husbandry committees are under the jurisdiction of Suli village.
In 2017, there was one enterprise in Suli Township with six employees; in 2018, there were two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Suli township.
Historical evolution
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, the area under its jurisdiction was the pastoral area of 100 households of duobalangwa tribe.
In the early days of the founding of new China, it belonged to shanghuancang District of Tianjun autonomous region.
In 1958, xueheli township was established.
In 1959, Suli commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to Suli township.
In 2005, zahe township was abolished and merged into Shuli township.

Suli township is located in the fold belt of Qilian Mountains. There are more than 100 modern glaciers in the south of Shule mountain. Shule River passes through the territory from southeast to northwest. South Shule mountain is the main mountain range in the territory, and also the main supply area of Shule River. The central part is Tuanjie peak, which has snow all the year round and is the landmark snow peak in the area. In the north is tuolenan mountain, which is the main source of rivers in Hexi Corridor of Gansu Province. The terrain is high in the north and south, low in the middle, high in the southeast and low in the northwest, with an average altitude of 4200 meters.
