Tongyi Town, belonging to Nehe City, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Nehe city and on the South Bank of nemur River, bordering Tongnan town in the East, Hesheng Township in the south, laha town in the West and Liuhe Town in the north, 45 km away from Nehe City, with a total administrative area of 265.4 square kilometers.

In 1917, it was named Guojiatun. In September 1996, Tongyi township was changed into Tongyi town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Tong Yi Town was 37403. In 2019, Tongyi town governs 11 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Lingyun village.

History of construction

In 1917, it was named Guojiatun. In 1938, Fumin Village was established. In 1947, it was changed into the 11th district.

In 1955, it was renamed Lingyun district.

In 1956, it was divided into three townships: Tongyi, Lingyun and Qimin.

In 1958, the three townships were merged into the Oriental commune.

In 1959, it was renamed synonymous commune.

In 1984, Tongyi commune was changed into Tongyi township.

In September 1996, Tongyi township was changed into Tongyi town.
