Yinpeng township is located in the southwest of Guangshan County, Xinyang City, Henan Province, 42 kilometers away from Guangshan County and upstream of Wuyue reservoir. It is known as "eight mountains and half water, one field, half road and Manor". It covers a total area of 64 square kilometers and has a total population of 18785.

Yinpeng township is located in the southwest of Guangshan County, 42 kilometers away from the county seat and upstream of Wuyue reservoir. It is located at the junction of Xinxian County, Luoshan county and Guangshan County, connecting Xiangdian Township in the East, Dingyuan Township in Luoshan County in the west, Suhe town in Xinxian County in the South and mafan town in the north. Yinpeng township was founded in 1975 (formerly known as Laoshan commune). It was changed to yinpeng Township in 1983, with a history of 40 years. The infrastructure in the territory is complete.
