Baoquan town
Baoquan Town, subordinate to Kedong County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Kedong County, on the North Bank of Wuyuer river. It is connected with Yugang town in the East, Jincheng Township and Kedong town in the south, Hebei Township of Keshan County in the southwest, Aihua forest farm, Hongqi dairy goat farm and Jianye farm in the north. The total administrative area is 357 square kilometers.
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1736-1795), Baoquan town was under the jurisdiction of yikeming'an banner; in 2001, Mingshan township was incorporated into Baoquan town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Bao Quan town was 47373. In 2019, Baoquan town governs 19 administrative villages.

History of construction
Baoquan town has a long history of development. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795) of the Qing Dynasty, there were waletun (today's Yongfeng Village) and yabudantun (today's Hulu Village) dominated by Mongols, which were under the jurisdiction of yikeming'an banner. In 1894 (the 20th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty), it was under the jurisdiction of butha.
In the fourth year of the Republic of China (1915), it belonged to Keshan County and belonged to the second district.
In 1949, it was the eighth District of Kedong County.
In 1955, it was renamed Baoquan district.
In 1958, Baoquan district was transformed into Baoquan commune.
In March 1984, Baoquan commune was transformed into Baoquan township.
In 1997, Baoquan township was transformed into Baoquan town.
In 2001, Mingshan township was merged into Baoquan town.
