Xianghua Township
Xianghua Township, belonging to Keshan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the middle of Keshan County. It borders Hebei Township, Kedong Jianye farm and Sujiadian farm in the East, Gubei Township in the south, Xihe town in the southwest, Xihe town and Xicheng town in the West and beilian forest farm and beilian town in the north. It is 21 kilometers away from the county, with a total administrative area of 381.31 square kilometers.
In the early Republic of China, Xianghua township was under the jurisdiction of the first autonomous region of Keshan County. In December 2002, Yongquan township was merged into Xianghua township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Huxiang was 31087. In 2019, Xianghua township has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in lijiandian village.
The main crops in Xianghua township are wheat, soybean, potato, etc., which are rich in sugar beet and flax. In 2018, Xianghua Township had 6 industrial enterprises and 9 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early days of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of the first autonomous region of Keshan County. In 1929, it was under the jurisdiction of the first, third and fourth districts. After the fall of Northeast China in 1931, most of Xianghua township was under the jurisdiction of Liu Dacun. In 1946, it was subordinate to Liuda district.
In 1949, it belonged to Beilian district.
In April 1956, Xiangyang Township was set up instead of regionalized Township, and Beilian township was merged in November of the same year.
In September 1958, it was renamed beilian people's commune.
In March 1962, Xiangyang commune was set up from beilian commune.
In January 1977, it was renamed Xianghua commune.
In April 1984, it was changed to Xianghua township.
In December 2002, Yongquan township was merged into Xianghua township.
