Goutai Township, belonging to Lingshou County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Lingshou county. It is connected with Lingshou town in the southeast, Niucheng town in the southwest, tashang town in the northwest and Qingtong town in the northeast, with an administrative area of 44.84 square kilometers.
In 1953, goutai township was established; in December 1961, Lingshou county was restored; in 1984, goutai township was restored; in January 1996, mafu'an township was incorporated. As of June 2020, goutai township has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 2, Lingta Road, beigoutai village.
