Baidi town

Baidi town is located in the southwest of Jingde County, Xuancheng City, Southeast Anhui Province, 37 kilometers away from Huangshan scenic spot, which is the east gate to Huangshan. The town governs six villages. In 2017, the administrative area of Baidi town was 9578 hectares, with a permanent population of 9835.

The town is rich in products, agricultural products are high-quality grain and oil, ramie, cocoon, wood bamboo, China Beef No.1, etc., mineral products are iron, zinc, limestone, stone coal, etc. On October 14, 2016, Baidi Town, Jingde County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province was jointly recognized as the first batch of small towns with Chinese characteristics by the national development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of housing and urban rural development.

Jingshe ancient road

Wind and fire cave

Ancient road post station

Tan Zisheng's former residence

Located in Yangchuan village, Baidi town. Tan Zisheng (1898-1930), formerly known as Tan Degui, was born in Xiayang village, Jingde County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province. In 1923, he was admitted to Nanfang University in Nanjing. In 1925, he transferred to Shanghai law and Politics University and joined the Communist Party of China. He was the first county magistrate of the red regime appointed by the Communist Party during the establishment of the Jinggangshan revolutionary base. Tan Zisheng's former residence is an Hui Style brick and wood structure, which was rebuilt on the original basis by later generations.
