Lianghe Town, belonging to Shangzhi City, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Shangzhi City, the West foot of zhangguangcailing, and the upper reaches of dongliangzhu river. It is adjacent to Hengdaohezi town of Hailin City in the East, Yabuli town and Yuchi Korean Township in the south, Weihe town and Yuanbao town in the West and southwest, and Qingyang Town in the north. In 2018, the area of Liang River town was 164.2 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 23826.

In 1934 (23 years of the Republic of China), it was called liangzhuhe town. Later, it was changed to Lianghe Zixing village.
In 1945, it was changed into Lianghe district.
In 1948, it belonged to Shangzhi county.
In 1950, it was renamed district 15.
In 1955, it was renamed Lianghe district.
In 1956, the district was changed to township.
In 1958, eight senior agricultural cooperatives were merged into Lianghe commune.
