Binan town
Bin'an town is located in the northeast of Bin County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. It is adjacent to Chang'an Town in the East, Sanbao Township in the south, Jingjian Township in the West and Xindian town in the north. In 2018, the area was 157.16 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 31199.
In 1915, it was the Fifth District. In the 35th year of the Republic of China (January 1946), Binan district was changed. In June 1949, it was renamed the Sixth District, and in October 1949, it was renamed the seventh district. In September 1958, Bin'an Town, Xinmin Township and Minyou Township were merged into Bin'an commune. In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a town.
In October 2019, Bin'an town has four neighborhood committees and nine administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises and 28 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Bin'an town.
Historical evolution
In 1909, the first year of Xuantong reign of the Qing Dynasty, the District of Pennsylvania government was divided into 20 districts with the words of "promoting happiness, maintaining public security, growing prosperity, relaxing the people, and forever enjoying happiness". Bin'an occupied one of them, so it was named "Bin'an".
In 1915, it was the Fifth District.
In the twenty fourth year of the Republic of China (July 1935), the Jieban station was set up.
In 1937, it was renamed bin Baoan.
In the 29th year of the Republic of China (January 1940), it was changed to Bin'an village.
In the 35th year of the Republic of China (January 1946), Binan district was changed.
In June 1949, it was renamed the Sixth District, and in October 1949, it was renamed the seventh district.
In June 1955, it was renamed Bin'an district.
In March 1956, it was divided into Bin'an Town, Changxing town and Xinmin Town.
In March 1958, Minyou township was merged into Changxing Township.

The total drainage area of the two rivers accounts for 33.8% of the total area of the county.
