Kangjin Street
Kangjin street, belonging to Hulan District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Hulan District, 28 kilometers away from the old city. It faces Bayan County across the Piao River in the East, Shiren town in the northeast, Xubao Township in the west, Erba, Fangtai and Shenjia towns in the South and Dayong town in the north. By the end of 2018, the area is 246 square kilometers with a total population of 63982.
Kangjin street is named for its location in kangjinjing railway station. In the late Qing Dynasty, it belongs to the Second District of Hedong in BEIXIANG. In the Republic of China, kangjinjing township was set up. In 1969, it was merged into Kangjin commune. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a town. In 2001, Xijing township was incorporated. In 2010, Kangjin street was changed.
In October 2019, Kangjin Street governs 4 communities, 26 administrative villages and the original seed farm living area of Hulan District.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Kangjin street was 990 million yuan, accounting for 31% of the domestic production value.
