Cuifeng Town, belonging to Zhouzhi County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southwest of Zhouzhi County, bordering Guangji town with Ganhe River in the south, Haizigou and Zhuyu town in the west, and Yabai town in the north, with a total area of 47.36 square kilometers.
In the Tang Dynasty, Cuifeng town was once a summer hunting place for Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, and was once built as a royal garden. It is said that there are many people living in seclusion in the green mountains. The scenic spots in the territory include gaiding temple, jimashuan, dressing house, tangwangjing, shuangbaishu, etc.

It got its name from Cuifeng mountain. Mountain green only green, beautiful mountain only peak, hence the name Cuifeng.

Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of mazhao Township, Zhouzhi County, with cheyubao, qinghebao and guancunbao.
