Wanbao street, belonging to Songbei District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Songbei District, adjacent to Songbei street in the East, Songhua River in the South and Daoli District across the river, Wuzhan town of Zhaodong city in the West and Yulin town of Lanxi County in the north. The total administrative area is 122.5 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Longjiang general; in February 2004, it belonged to Songbei district; by the end of 2011, it had a total population of 24363; as of October 2019, Wanbao street had one community and seven administrative villages under its jurisdiction;

History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to general Longjiang.
In 1931, it belonged to Zhaodong county and set up Wanbao district; in 1945, it belonged to 12 districts and changed to Wanbao village.
In 1956, it was changed to Wanbao township.
In 1958, the township changed into a commune.
In 1960, it was assigned to Daoli District of Harbin city.
In 1962, it was assigned to Binjiang District.
In 1967, it was transferred to the suburbs and renamed Chunlei commune.
In 1972, it was assigned to Daowai District.
In 1983, it was changed into Wanbao township.
In 1986, the township was transformed into a town.
In February 2004, it was assigned to Songbei district.
