Pingxin street, belonging to Pingfang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Pingfang district. It is adjacent to Pingfang town in the East, Zhoujia town in Shuangcheng City in the south, Hongqi Manchu Township in Nangang District in the West and Xinwei, Xinjiang, Youxie and Lianmeng streets in the north. In 2011, it has a total area of 42 square kilometers and a total population of 13460.
In 1816, the Manchu government established three or four villages in zhenghuang banner, which belonged to the Yamen of Shuangcheng castle. In the 24th year, nine villages were formed, which belonged to zuotun (the East Government Office of Shuangcheng Castle). In 1913, it belonged to the Second District of Shuangcheng county.
