Yangcun town
Yangcun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dingxing County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Dingxing County, adjacent to Jiaguang township of Rongcheng County in the south, liuzhuo Township and Gucheng Township in the west, and Beitian Township in the northeast. The maximum distance from east to west is 10 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 9 kilometers, with a total area of 38.56 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total registered residence of Yang village was 34669.
In 1961, it was transferred to Dingxing county and Yang village commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Yangcun township. On December 31, 2020, with the approval of the people's Government of Hebei Province, Dingxing County abolished Yangcun Township and established Yangcun town. As of June 2020, Yangcun town has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Yangcun town is located in Xizhao village.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Yuanyang village was 300 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 6100 yuan. The total industrial output value is 50 million yuan. The fiscal revenue is 2.05 million yuan and the general budget revenue is 1.16 million yuan. In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises and 49 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in yuanyangcun township.
Historical evolution
Liberated in June 1948, it belongs to three districts of Rongcheng county.
In April 1949, it was put under the jurisdiction of Dingxing county.
In 1953, it belonged to Yangcun and Nandong.
In 1958, it belonged to Xushui county.
In 1961, it was transferred to Dingxing county and Yang village commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to Yangcun township.
In 1996, fangjiazhuang township was incorporated.
On December 31, 2020, with the approval of the people's Government of Hebei Province, Dingxing County abolished Yangcun Township and established Yangcun town.
