Zhifeng street, belonging to Dazu District of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Dazu District, adjacent to Shima town in the East, Longshui town in the south, Dazu city in the west, and Baoding town in the north. It is 7 kilometers away from the residence of Dazu District People's government, with a total area of 87.7 square kilometers.
In 1953, there was Miliang Township in Zhifeng street; in 2014, it was changed from Zhifeng town to Zhifeng street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Zhifeng street was 45155. As of June 2020, Zhifeng street has 9 communities and 3 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the sub district office is located in group 1 of Dengyun community.
The main food crops in Zhifeng Street are rice, corn, wheat, red and sorghum; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs. In 2016, the GDP of Zhifeng Street reached 1.35 billion yuan.
History of construction
In 1953, rice grain township was built in some areas of Chengdong, Hualong and Mituo.
In 1955, Miliang township was merged into Mituo township.
In 1958, Mituo township was withdrawn and Mituo commune was established.
In 1960, Dengyun commune was established.
In 1961, Mituo commune established the rice commune.
In 1966, Dengyun commune was renamed Dongfeng commune.
In 1967, Mituo commune changed its name to Bayi commune.
In 1976, Dongfeng commune was withdrawn and Dengyun township was restored.
In 1981, Bayi commune was renamed Mituo commune.
In 1984, Mituo commune was replaced by Mituo Township, and Miliang commune was replaced by Miliang township.
In 1993, Mituo Township and Dengyun Township merged to form Mituo town.
In October 2003, Mituo town and Miliang Township were merged into Zhifeng town.
In 2014, Zhifeng town was replaced by Zhifeng street.

By the end of 2011, Zhifeng street had jurisdiction over seven communities, namely Pu'an, Dengyun, Xindian, Huanglian, Fushou, Gaosun and Jiecun, five administrative villages, namely Tianba, maolibao, Yongfu, Bali and ruanjia, and 48 resident groups and 34 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Zhifeng street has jurisdiction over 9 communities and 3 administrative villages: Street community, Gaosun community, Pu'an community, Dengyun community, Xindian community, Huanglian community, Fushou community, Tianba community, maolibao community, Bali village, ruanjia village and Yongfu village. The street office is located in group 1 of Dengyun community.
