Three trees Street
Sankeshu street, belonging to Daowai District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Daowai District. It is adjacent to Xinyi street and Tuanjie town in the East, Youfang street and tietou street in the south, Minqiang street and Taiping Street in the west, and Lihua street in the north. The sub district office is located at No. 35, xinjiangqiao street, Daowai District. The area is 2.8 square kilometers (2012).
In 2019, six communities will be under the jurisdiction of sankeshu street. In 2011, the total population of sankeshu street was 34197.

Historical evolution
Before the end of Qing Dynasty, Majiagou river flowed into Songhua River from southwest to northeast, Ashe River from southeast to west, from East and west sides of Taiping area. Due to the erosion of the Songhua River and the wind and rain, a yellow sand mound was naturally formed on the original site of the three trees, on which there were three elms, each of which was three thick.
In 1744, a Han family surnamed Lu settled here, and then three or four families came here to open up wasteland, gradually forming a small settlement named sankeshu village after three old elms.
In 1932, sankeshu railway station was named after sankeshu, and the street of sankeshu Street got its name.
On July 1, 1938, sankeshu district was established, belonging to Taiping District.
In January 1947, it was changed to the office of sankeshu street.
In 1954, it was changed to three trees street.
In 1960, three branches were set up.
In 1971, it merged with Taiping branch and became Qianfeng branch.
In 1972, three branches were set up.
In 1979, it was changed into sankeshu street, still belonging to Taiping District.
On March 24, 2004, Daowai District was merged with Taiping District. The new district was named Daowai District, and then sankeshu street was named Daowai District.
