Jingxin Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hunchun City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Hunchun City, bordering Hasan Town, Hasan District, Russia in the East, laolongshan in the jurisdiction is 4km away from the Gulf of Japan, 15km away from the sea of Japan in the South, across the river from Ender County of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the southwest, and Banshi town of Hunchun city in the northwest, with an administrative area of 342.46km2.

In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it belonged to Hunchun County; in 1992, Jingxin township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, 5415 people registered residence in Jingxin town. As of June 2020, Jingxin town has 14 administrative villages.

History of construction

In 1913, it belonged to Hunchun county.

In 1930, Jingxin and Chunyi (now Banshi) were merged into the third district.

In 1931, Jingxin township was established.

In August 1945, Jingxin district was changed.

In 1950, it was renamed District 3.

In 1956, it was divided into two townships, jiushaping and erdaopaozi.

In 1958, the two townships were merged into Jingxin township; in September of the same year, Jingxin township was transformed into a commune.

Jingxin town is located in the southern end of hunchunling mountains, the most downstream of Tumen River Basin, with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. The main mountain ranges are Yichun mountain range.
