Xiaodu town

Xiaodu Town, subordinate to Tongnan District of Chongqing, is located in the south of Tongnan District, adjacent to Tongliang Shaoyun town and Lufeng town in the East, Shouqiao town of Tongnan District in the south, Wofo town of Tongnan District in the West and Tangba town of Tongnan District in the north. It is 35km away from the residence of Tongnan District People's government, with a total area of 88.23km2.

In 728, Xiaodu town was located in Tongliang County, Hezhou Prefecture; in December 1993, Xiaodu Township, Jiji Township and Qingyun Township were merged to build Xiaodu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xiao Du Town was 47020. As of June 2020, Xiaodu town has 4 communities, 13 administrative villages and the people's Government of Xiaodu town is located at No. 85 MaoYuan street.

In 2018, there were 112 industrial enterprises in Xiaodu Town, including 6 above scale enterprises and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

Tang Kaiyuan 16 years (728 years), belongs to Tongliang County, Hezhou Prefecture.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to sanhuichang, zhonganli, Suining.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Suining County.

In January 1950, Sanhui township was built.

In April 1952, Sanhui Township set aside part of the area to add Huixiang and Wanshou township.

In June 1956, Jihui township was merged into Sanhui Township, and then separated in the same year.

In September 1958, Sanhui township was changed into Sanhui commune.

In December 1981, Xiaodu town was renamed Xiaodu commune after Sanhui commune because of its name.

In December 1983, Xiaodu commune was changed into Xiaodu township.

In December 1993, Xiaodu Township, Huiji Township and Qingyun Township were merged to build Xiaodu town.

As of June 2020, Xiaodu town has 4 communities and 13 administrative villages: Xiaodu town community, Xiashi community, Liujia community, Zaojiao community, Yuantan village, Shuangqiao Village, Yueshan village, Shuangwu village, datu village, Huangping village, Jiling village, Daichang village, Huayuan village, Huangbao village, Gaoba village, shuangba village and xuetuo village.
