Qianqihao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changling County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the west of Changling County, 24 kilometers away from Changling County; it borders Changling town in the East and Southeast, Xin'an town in the south, Maolin town in Shuangliao City in the southwest, Daxing Town and 88 Township in the west, and santuan Township in the north. The total administrative area is 349.99 square kilometers.
In September 2005, shijiahu township of Changling County was merged into qianqihao town. By the end of 2018, the number seven registered residence in former seven town had a population of 37985. As of June 2020, the top seven town has 15 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in qianqihao town was 7500 yuan. The total industrial output value is 20 million yuan. The total sales volume of social goods is 120 million yuan, the income of postal service is 1.1 million yuan, and the income of telecommunication service is 3 million yuan.
History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Changfu district.
In 1919, it was renamed District 6; in 1938, it belonged to baojiashaogang village; in 1946, it belonged to District 2; in 1948, it was renamed District 7.
In 1950, it was renamed District 6.
In 1956, qianqihao township was established.
In 1958, it was changed into Songliao commune; at the end of 1958, it was changed into former No.7 commune.
In August 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In 1984, the township was transformed into a town.
In September 2005, shijiahu township of Changling County was incorporated.
