Guangming town is located in the middle of Jiangle County, Fujian Province. Guangming Village, where the town government is located, is 13 kilometers away from the county seat. County Road City Light runs through the territory. In 2005, Guangming town had 11 village committees, 1 improved seed farm and 77 villager groups, with 10756 people in 2655 households.

Guangming town has 14900 mu of arable land, including 13900 mu of paddy field; 179400 mu of forest land, including 172800 mu of woodland, with 83.1% forest coverage, 677500 cubic meters of forest stock and 2632500 bamboo stands. The volume of timber forest in Guangming, QUXU and Shantou villages is more than 100000 cubic meters, and the bamboo forest in Jixia and Shantou villages is more than 3000 mu.

Guangming township was officially established as a town by Fujian provincial government on November 28, 2018.

Resource overview

The mineral deposits include marble, granite, quartzite, magnetite, lead-zinc ore, etc., of which the reserve of magnetite is more than 980000 tons. There are 7 peaks over 1000 meters in the territory, among which the main peak of Baotai mountain is 1313 meters above sea level. There are many historic sites in the territory, including one Shang and Zhou site in donglingtou, the tomb of Yang Zijiang, the fifth ancestor of Yang Shi, and the ancient tombs in Yongji village. agricultural development

In 1991, the total output value of agriculture was 26.13 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 979 yuan. Grain crops and cash crops were planted in 32573 Mu and 11120 Mu respectively. After 1992, we adjusted the structure of agricultural industry, popularized the cultivation of tobacco, off-season Lentinus edodes and sericulture, and vigorously developed the breeding industry. By 1993, Xiyan fish breeding base, Yongji sow base, Kengtou pig base, Gekeng poultry base, Xiaxu duck mother base and QUXU herbivore base had been established to promote the development of animal husbandry and aquaculture in the township. In 1994, a total of 207 mu of fish ponds were newly dug in Guangming Township, and 56 villagers raised summer and autumn ducks in fish ponds, establishing Guangming "duck fishing mode". In 1995, because reeling production fell into a low ebb, cocoon prices fell sharply, and sericulture production in the township stopped.

In 1996, Guangming Village and Yongji village introduced and raised 100 Taihu sows, with an annual output of 970 piglets. In 1998, the comprehensive agricultural development projects of Gebu village and Yongji village were completed, and Guangming Yongji modern agricultural demonstration park was established. The demonstration park mainly includes tobacco, orchard, vegetables, livestock and other agricultural projects, with an annual output value of 2.3 million yuan. Township Enterprises

In 1991, there were 371 enterprises with 2416 employees and a total output value of 49.52 million yuan. At that time, Guangming Qingshui bamboo shoot cannery and pencil factory changed their operation mechanism and implemented collective management. In 1994, the porcelain factory, platen factory and Cannery carried out technical transformation. Edible fungi development company, agricultural products production and marketing company, mineral development company, timber company, bamboo shoot company, tea fruit development company, real estate development company, poultry feed company and other enterprises have been established. From 1995 to 2001, rural enterprises and private enterprises developed rapidly by increasing investment. It has attracted 20.52 million yuan to set up bamboo products factory, car wood factory, sporting goods factory, clothes rack factory, decorative board factory, food factory, bamboo mat factory, bamboo plywood factory, blockboard factory, lead-zinc mine and other enterprises. The canned water bamboo shoots, pencils, porcelains, BLOCKBOARDS, slide boards, bamboo plywood, decorative boards, bamboo mats, coat racks, finger boards and other products are mainly sold inside and outside the province, and some of them are exported. In 2005, there were 280 enterprises with 1845 employees in the township, with a total output value of 181.2 million yuan and profits and taxes of 8.15 million yuan. Rural construction

From 1991 to 1993, the construction of Shantou village, Guangming Village, San Cha Lu Kou new village of Xin'an street and Yili new village were completed successively, A total of 61 new houses with a construction area of 9150 square meters are built; 3 kilometers of Guangming Yongji asphalt road is paved; 9 kilometers of road from Guangming Village to Shangdi road is opened; 360 meters of cement road is paved in Wenming lane of Guangming Village; agricultural technology station, finance office, police station, post and telecommunications office building and other public buildings are built successively. Shantou, Taishang and other villages built new village departments. In 1995, a water plant with a daily output of 1000 tons was built, which can serve more than 3500 people. From 1995 to 1998, the office buildings of credit cooperatives, land offices, water conservancy workstations, shopping malls of supply and marketing cooperatives, family planning service offices and tobacco stations were successively built, with a total construction area of 2532 square meters.

In 2002, the transformation of rural power grid was completed, and the electricity for production and living was used at the same price in urban and rural areas, and 100% of natural villages were supplied with electricity. From 2003 to 2005, a total of 56 kilometers of cement roads from Guangming Village to Jieyuan, Caodi, QUXU, Jixia and other villages were successively paved, realizing the connection of cement roads to every village.
