In the late Qing Dynasty, Liangshui Korean nationality township belonged to chonghebao, Huairen County; in May 1985, it was changed from Liangshui township to Liangshui Korean nationality township. As of June 2020, Liangshui Korean countryside has jurisdiction over one community and nine administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in the center of Liangshui village.

History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to chonghebao in Huairen county. In 1902, it was assigned to Ji'an County.
In the early years of the Republic of China, it belonged to chonghebao (Fuyu) in Xier township. In 1923, it belonged to three districts (waichagou). In 1926, it belonged to the second district (Yulin). In 1928, it belonged to three districts (waichagou). During the period of the Japanese puppet regime, it belonged to Chagou village outside the three districts. In 1934, waichagou was set up to protect liangshuiquanzijia. In 1939, it belonged to Dalu village. In 1945, it belonged to Liangshui village in three districts.
In February 1956, liangshuiquanzi township was established.
In September 1958, Liangshui quanzi township was merged with Dalu Township, Gumaling Township and DAYANGCHA township to form a satellite commune; in December of the same year, it belonged to Dalu commune.
In May 1961, Dalu commune established Liangshui commune.
March 1965, belongs to Ji'an County.
In March 1983, Liangshui commune was transformed into Liangshui township.
