Aijia town

It was built in 1987. It is located on the South Bank of the Yangtze River in Yichang City, opposite to Wujiagang across the river, 10 km away from the city center, covering an area of 70.31 square kilometers (2017), with a population of 8484 (2017). There are two ferry terminals along the river, and the roads in the territory directly connect with Yiling Yangtze River Bridge and Yichang Highway Bridge. It has jurisdiction over Aijia, Liujia, Qiaohe, Qili, Liulin, five village committees and Dalishu community. Township enterprises have business, catering, service and other industries. Citrus and rape are the main agricultural crops. There are scenic spots in the town, such as Zhihu mountain and Jingmen mountain, which stand opposite Huya mountain across the river. Aijia town is located on the South Bank of Xiling Gorge of Yangtze River. The land area of Qiaohe village is 6.08 square kilometers, including 86.9 hectares of cultivated land. The Yiwan railway passes through the territory. The land area of the village is 15.59 square kilometers, including 81.8 hectares of cultivated land. (6) Dalishu neighborhood committee < br > in November 2002, Dalishu neighborhood committee of Aijia town was established, and its residents were mainly due to the construction of the Three Gorges Dam and the relocation of employees and family members of enterprises of Yichang Xiangxi Mining Bureau.
