Taishang Town, belonging to Ji'an City, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Ji'an city. It borders Maxian Township in the East and Southeast, Yulin town in the south, erpengdianzi town in Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, Liaoning Province in the southwest, Huadian town in the West and northwest, Qinghe town in the north and northeast. History of construction
In the early years of Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xixian Jubao of Tonghua County. In 1902, it belonged to Ji'an County. It belonged to Xixian Jubao Taishang brand, Dongxian Jubao huangweizi brand and Dahuanggou brand.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Xixian jubaotai, Dongxian jubaohuangweizi and Dahuanggou. In 1923, it belonged to Taishang village and shuangchahe village. During the Japanese puppet period, it belonged to taishangbao and shuangchahebao. In 1945, it was the residence of four districts.
In 1956, Taishang Township, Dongming Township and shuangchahe Township were established.
In March 1958, Dongming township was merged into Taishang township; in September of the same year, Taishang Township, Huadian Township and shuangchahe Township were merged into Chunguang commune; in December of the same year, they were renamed Taishang commune.
In March 1961, Taishang commune was divided into Taishang commune, Shuangcha commune and Huadian commune.
March 1965, belongs to Ji'an County.
In March 1983, Taishang commune was changed into Taishang township.
In April 1988, it belongs to Ji'an city.
In October 1992, Taishang township was replaced by Taishang town.
In December 1999, Shuangcha township was merged into Taishang town.
