Jingbian town
Jingbian town of Quxian county is located at the foot of Daba Mountain in East Sichuan and in the west of Quxian County, Dazhou City, with an altitude of 260 meters, 28 kilometers away from Quxian county and 30 kilometers away from Yingshan County. G5515 nandaliang Expressway crosses Jingbian town and sets Jingbian exit. Provincial highway 204 and Daliang railway pass through the edge of the town. The rivers are winding. Jingbian town is a "national advanced unit of law popularization", "provincial pilot town", "model town of municipal comprehensive management" and "municipal civilized town".
Covering an area of 39 square kilometers, the town governs 14 villages, 2 community neighborhood committees and 84 villager groups. With a total population of 31397, it is located on the Bank of Liujiang River in the northwest of Quxian County, 32 kilometers away from qucheng. The town is surrounded by water on three sides and is of peninsula type with superior geographical location. There are three county roads in the town, which are connected with provincial highway 204. On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Dazhou city to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in five counties (districts) including Tongchuan District (cfzm [2019] No. 21): the administrative areas of Baihe Village, Baitu Township and Helin town in Qingsi Township were put under the jurisdiction of Jingbian Town, and the people's Government of Jingbian town was stationed at No. 125 Jianshe street.

Jingbian town is located in the northwest of Qu county, bordering Qingsi Township, Helin Township and Baitu Township in the East, South and north respectively, and lingjiu town and Sixi Township in Yingshan County in the West. Historical evolution
Jingbian town was originally named jingbianchang and Jingbian temple. It was built in the Tiancheng reign of emperor mingzong of the late Tang Dynasty. The temple was built at the beginning, and then the streets were built one by one. During the Jiading period of the Southern Song Dynasty, it was set up. Jingbian township was established in the Republic of China. At the beginning of liberation, Jingbian township was renamed Jingbian Township in February 1953. On May 30, 1965, Jingbian changed its name to worker and farmer. On June 1, 1977, its original name was restored. On December 23, 2003, Jingbian Township and Hualong Township were merged into Jingbian town with the approval of Sichuan Provincial People's government.
Jingbian is famous for its temple. At first, it was built by Xu Chengliang, the assassin of Jingbian army in Tiancheng of Tang Dynasty, who gave up his residence and was founded by Zen master Chengquan (the rule of Tongzhi in Quxian county). Later, it was built and destroyed many times. So far, there is no tile remains. Jingbian "is quiet and quiet by the margin of the river, and magnificent by the four distant mountains" (inscription of Jingbian Temple written by the king of Ming Dynasty), and "where can the ancient temple bend the river?"
