Bawu town
Bawu Town, belonging to Gongzhuling City, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Gongzhuling City, on the North Bank of East Liaohe River, bordering Qinjiatun town in the East, Liaohe River in the east of Lishu County in the south, Shiwu town in the west, Yangdachengzi town and maochengzi town in the North. It is 70 kilometers away from Siping City and 61 kilometers away from Changchun City, with a total area of 137.61 square kilometers.
In 1947, Bawu town belonged to the four districts of Qinjiatun. In November 1992, it was changed from Bawu township to Bawu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in eight towns was 30972. As of June 2020, Bawu town has one community and 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Bawu village.
In 2018, there are 12 industrial enterprises in Bawu Town, including one above scale and 60 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1947, it belonged to four districts of Qinjiatun.
In 1968, eight House commune was established.
In 1984, Bawu commune was transformed into Bawu township.
In November 1992, it was changed from Bawu township to Bawu town.

As of June 2020, Bawu town has 1 community and 11 administrative villages: Bawu community, Jiufeng village, Bawu village, Shengli village, Wujiazi village, liujiatun village, Zhangjiatun village, Changshanbao village, fangniu village, toudaoquan village, sanjiaosi village and haojiaweizi village. The town people's government is located in Bawu village.

History and culture
During the Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, Mongolian and Han people lived together in one village, called bawuyingzi. After the Mongolian moved to the north, more and more Han people came to Bawu.
