Baituan Township, belonging to Qingyuan District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located 7.5km west of the central part of Qingyuan District, bordering Qingyuan town and Beidian Township in the East, Ranzhuang town in the south, Weicun town in the West and Wuyao Township in Lianchi District in the north. The largest distance is 7.6 km, the largest 9 km from north and south, the total area is 50.51 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 37336 (2018).
Baituan township is named because the township government is located in baituan East Street Village. In May 1984, baituan township was established. In January 1996, Baicheng township was incorporated. As of October 2019, baituan township has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in baituan East Street. In 2017, baituan township was rated as the municipal advanced unit of agricultural census in Qingyuan District, and the advanced unit of "three strict prevention, three standardization and one guarantee" activity month in Qingyuan district.
