Xiaokuan town

Xiaokuan Town, subordinate to Lishu County, Siping City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Lishu County. It borders Xiaochengzi town in the East, Siping Liaohe agricultural reclamation management area in the South and West, and Bawu town in Gongzhuling City across the East Liaohe River in the north. The area is 96.62 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 22185 people registered residence in Xiao Kuan town.

In 1958, it belonged to Gujiazi commune and was changed into a small and wide management area. In 1961, Xiaokuan commune was established. In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In October 1990, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Xiaokuan town has one community and nine administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in Xiaokuan Town, including 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution
