Dayang town is located in the northwest of Zezhou County, Shanxi Province, 22 kilometers away from Jincheng city. It is located at 35 ° 39 ′ N and 112 ° 47 ′ E. It is adjacent to Bagong town of Zezhou County in the East, Chengou workstation of Bagong town in the southwest, Xiacun town in the West and Macun town of Gaoping City in the north. The total administrative area is 52.58 square kilometers, accounting for 2.38% of the total area of Zezhou county. The town governs 28 administrative villages, 108 villager groups and 26 natural villages with a permanent population of 23634 (2017).
