Tongtai Township
Tongtai Township, belonging to Dehui City, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the southwest of Dehui city. It borders Huifa street and Buhai town in the East, zhuchengzi town in the south, Nongan town and Qiangang town in Nongan County in the west, Guojia town and Tiantai town in the north, with a total area of 252.5 square kilometers.
In the late Qing Dynasty, Tongtai Township belonged to bade Township, Changchun Prefecture; in January 1984, it was changed from Tongtai commune to Tongtai township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Tai Tai township was 53912. As of June 2020, Tongtai township has jurisdiction over 28 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Bajiazi village.
In 2018, there were 14 industrial enterprises in Tongtai Township, including 6 Enterprises above Designated Size and 52 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to bade Township, Changchun Prefecture.
In 1913, it was the Second District of Changchun county. In 1929, it belonged to Baotong Taijia of Wanbaoshan. In 1941, it belonged to Tongtai village, Changchun county. In 1948, it belonged to the 15th district.
In October 1952, it was assigned to the 17th District of Dehui county.
In May 1956, it belonged to three townships: liming, Diaojia and Weitang.
In April 1959, it belonged to Guojia and zhuchengzi communes.
In June 1961, Guojia commune and zhuchengzi commune established Tongtai commune.
In January 1984, Tongtai commune was transformed into Tongtai township.
In August 2005, Heping township was merged into Tongtai township.

By the end of 2011, Tongtai Township had 28 administrative villages, including Bajiazi, Dengjia, Haichuan, Houjia, Diaojia, Gongjia, Jixiang, Xinli, dongerdao, xierdao, Weitang, Qianshan, wufutang, Weizi, Majia, shangyingzi, Taihe, Linjia, shuangshanzi, dujiadian, Lijia, yangbalang, Lixin, welfare, Xinfeng, Sandao, wangzhong and hujiafenfang.
As of June 2020, Tongtai township has 28 administrative villages: Diaojia village, Xinli village, wufutang village, Weizi village, Weitang village, Qianshan village, Jixiang village, gongjiatun village, dongerdao village, xierdao village, Haichuan village, Houjia village, Bajiazi village, Dengjia village, Shuangshan village, dujiadian village, Lijia village, balang village, Taihe village, Xinfeng village, Fuli village, Sandao village, wangzhong village and Huzhong village Jiafanfang village, shangyingzi village, Linjia village, Majia village, Lixin village, and the Township People's government is stationed in Bajiazi village.
