Qiangang Township
Qiangang Township, belonging to Nong'an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Nong'an county. It borders Dehui City, Tongtai Township and zhuchengzi town in the East, Wanbao town in Kuancheng District in the south, Kaian town and Huajia town across Yitong River in the west, and Nong'an town in the North. It is 25 kilometers away from Nong'an County, with a total area of 251 square kilometers.
In the early years of the Republic of China, Qiangang Township belonged to Fuan township of Changchun Government; in 1983, it was changed from Qiangang commune to Qiangang township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the former Township was 49419. As of June 2020, Qiangang rural area has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at 399 Kaifa Road, Qiangang.
In 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in Qiangang Township, including one above scale and 65 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early years of the Republic of China, it belonged to Changchun Fu'an township. During the period of the Northeast occupied by the Japanese, it belonged to Baojia village, Changchun county. In 1945, it belonged to Bao's hometown.
In 1949, it belonged to Baojia district.
In the autumn of 1952, it was assigned to Nong'an county.
In 1958, it belonged to Baojia commune.
In 1961, Baojia commune established Qiangang commune.
In 1983, Qiangang commune was transformed into Qiangang township.
In September 2005, Baojia town was merged into Qiangang township.
