Wangjiazhai Town, located in the northwest of Zhongshan District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, is adjacent to Dahe Town in the East, Shuangjia Yi Township in Shuicheng County in the south, Houchang town in Weining Yi Hui Miao Autonomous County in Bijie City in the West and muguo Yi Miao Township in Shuicheng County in the north. The administrative area of Wangjiazhai town is 77.35 square kilometers. In late 2018, 57793 households registered residence in Wangjia Zhai.
The Qing Dynasty belonged to Dading Prefecture. During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to dewu and Wenhua townships of Shuicheng County. In 1971, it belonged to Shuicheng special zone. In September 1982, Wangjiazhai town was established. In September 1984, it belongs to Dahe Town of Shuicheng special zone.
