Jianchang Manchu Township, belonging to Xingcheng City, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Xingcheng City, adjacent to Hongyazi town in the East, nandashan Manchu Township in the southeast, Weiping Manchu Township in the south, Sandaogou Manchu Township in the west, Yaowang Manchu Township in the northwest and Guojia town in the North, with an administrative area of 161.2 square kilometers.
In 1945, it was called Jianchang district; in 1986, it was renamed Jianchang Manchu Township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Manchu Township in soda plant was 11883. As of June 2020, the Manchu Township of Jianchang has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Jianchang village.
In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises and 1 comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Manchu Township.
History of construction
In 1945, it was the alkali factory area.
In 1946, it was renamed the third district and then the fourth district.
In the winter of 1948, it was returned to the second district.
In 1956, villages were removed and townships were built.
In 1957, the district system was abolished and assigned to Jianchang township.
In 1958, it was the alkali factory commune.
In September 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of alkali factory commune was established.
In September 1983, a soda factory Township was set up.
In 1986, it was renamed Manchu Township of soda factory.

History and culture
The Manchu Township of Jianchang was formerly known as "Jianchang". It is said that Zhu San was able to hold Nianpan in NIANPANGOU in the early Qing Dynasty and called himself Prince Zhu San. Later, he set up an arrow playing field in the broad valley on the North Bank of Yantai, which was named after homophony.
