Gaodianzi Manchu Township, belonging to Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Suizhong County, bordering Gaotai town in the East, Shahe Town and Fanjia Manchu Township in the south, dawangmiao town in the West and xipingpo Manchu Township across the mountain in the north, with an administrative area of 111.47 square meters.
In 1902, Suizhong County was established, which was divided into four districts. Gaodianzi belonged to Chengxiang District. In 1983, gaodianzi commune was withdrawn and renamed gaodianzi Manchu Township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the township was 18189. As of June 2020, gaodianzi Manchu Township has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in gaodianzi village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of gaodianzi Manchu Township was 2.4 million yuan. Among them, the national tax revenue is 800000 yuan, and the local tax revenue is 600000 yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 7320 yuan. In 2018, there were 16 industrial enterprises in gaodianzi Manchu Township, including one above scale and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1902, Suizhong County was established, which was divided into four districts. Gaodianzi belonged to Chengxiang District.
During the period of the Republic of China, Suizhong was divided into eight districts, Gaodian Zi was eight districts (King Temple).
In 1940, gaodianzi set up a village office.
In 1949, gaodianzi belonged to the old ten districts.
In 1956, gaodianzi built a township.
In 1958, the gaodianzi commune was established, and the integration of government and society was implemented.
In 1983, gaodianzi commune was withdrawn and renamed gaodianzi Manchu Township.

Gaodianzi Manchu Township is located in a semi hilly area, two thirds of which are hills and one third of which are Valley plains. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The main mountains in the territory are distributed at the north and south ends, including Lazi mountain, Jiashan mountain, Ma'anshan mountain, Gaocheng mountain, Laodong mountain, etc. the highest point in the territory is located at 6 kilometers northwest of the people's government, with an altitude of 623 meters.

Gaodianzi Manchu Township belongs to temperate continental monsoon climate, which is characterized by four distinct seasons, less rain and dry in spring, hot and rainy in summer, cool and sunny in autumn, cold and dry in winter. The largest river in gaodianzi Manchu Township is Wangbao River, passing through the territory from west to East. It starts from longtun reservoir in the west, flows through seven residential areas of Guchengzi, qianguchengzi, kuanggou, houyao, shangmatun, xiamatun and fengjiatun, and enters Gaotai town in the East, with a total length of 6 km. The other three rivers, clam River, Zhuxian River and Zhanggou River, are seasonal rivers.

History and culture
The original name of gaodianzi Manchu Township was Tian gaodianzi, so it used to be a deserted meadow with high terrain. The Tian family moved from Shandong Province to settle here in 1780, which was later referred to as gaodianzi.
