Sanjianbao street, subordinate to Lvshunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Lvshunkou district. The former sanjianbao street and the former Beihai Street are the new street area, with an administrative area of 79.3 square kilometers.
On November 29, 2019, it was decided to abolish the former sanjianbao street and the former Beihai street and re-establish sanjianbao street. In 2011, the population of sanjianbao street was 26395 (adding up to the original population of 2 streets). As of June 2020, sanjianbao street has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at 501 Jinshi Road, Lushunkou District.

In 1946, sanjianbao District Office was established, belonging to Lushun city.

In October 1954, it was changed to sanjianbao District Office, belonging to Lushun city.
In April 1956, four townships and four clubs were set up under the people's Committee of Lushun city.

After the merger
On November 29, 2019, according to the reply of Dalian Municipal People's Government on Approving the adjustment of administrative divisions of some streets in Lvshunkou District, Dalian municipal government decided to cancel the original sanjianbao street and Beihai street, and re establish sanjianbao street. The original two streets were taken as the new streets, and the neighborhood office was located in the former sanjianbao neighborhood office (Jinshi District, Lvshunkou District) 501.

The original Beihai street is located in the hilly area of Changbai Mountain, the terrain is high in the West and low in the East. The main peaks are jiutou mountain and Paotai mountain.
