Wangyingzi Township
Wang yingzi Township, Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province, is located in the southern tip of Chaoyang County. It borders the city of Huludao on the East and south. The West and North are adjacent to six family towns and Yang Shan town. The largest distance is 11 km from the East and West, the largest distance is 17 km from north and south, and 107.93 square kilometers of the area. As of 2018, the registered residence population was 11644.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to Chaoyang County of Chengde Prefecture. In April 1956, the administrative village was abolished and the township system was implemented. In 1981, the former beiyingzi brigade was divided into beiyingzi brigade and Binggou brigade. In 2004, wangyingzi township was merged into 8 administrative villages from 14 administrative villages and 1 fruit tree team. As of June 2020, wangyingzi has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages.
In 2018, wangyingzi Township had 3 industrial enterprises and 21 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
At the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to Chaoyang County of Chengde Prefecture.
In 1933, after the Japanese invaders occupied Chaoyang, they belonged to Liujiazi police station of Chaoyang Maintenance Association, and Wang yingzi set up a village office.
In April 1946, the CPC Jinxi County Party committee and government established a revolutionary base in wangyingzi. Wangyingzi company, tonggende, gangyaoling and xindeshan were under the leadership of the CPC Jinxi County Party committee and government.
In January 1949, the CPC Jinxi County Party committee and government moved to Jinxi County and established a new government. Wang yingzi was officially an administrative village in Jinxi County, western Liaoning Province. In June of the same year, Wang yingzi was again designated from Jinxi County, belonging to the 13th District of gangyaoling, Chaoyang County.
In April 1956, the administrative village was abolished and the township system was implemented.

In May 1961, wangyingzi separated from Liujiazi commune and established wangyingzi commune, including Erdao, Heihu, Sunjia, Xigou, wangyingzi, zhenzigou, guolianggou, Shaoguo, nanyingzi, beiyingzi, Bajiazi, Qipanshan, Guoshu team, 13 production teams and 1 fruit professional team.
In 1968, wangyingzi commune was renamed Qianjin commune.
In 1977, Qianjin commune was renamed wangyingzi commune.
In 1981, the former beiyingzi brigade was divided into beiyingzi brigade and Binggou brigade.
In 2004, wangyingzi township was merged into 8 administrative villages from 14 administrative villages and 1 fruit tree team.

Wangyingzi township is located in the south of Chaoyang County, bordering Huludao City in the East and south, Liujiazi town and Yangshan town in the West and North, respectively. One starts from Sunjiagou, flows through Heihu and Erdaogou from east to west and flows into Liujiazi Town, with a total length of 13 km; the other starts from guolianggou, flows from south to North and flows into Yangshan town through wangyingzi, nanyingzi, beiyingzi and Bajiazi, with a total length of 22 km.
