The township was established in 1961 and the commune was changed in 1972. In 1988, the former Shenzha Township, Xingong Township and Yuzhu Township were merged into Shenzha township. In 1996, with a population of about 17000, it has jurisdiction over nine administrative villages, namely, Naza, xiabuxiagu, eruma, Luobao, Liangdong, kaudi, Dala, Yuzhu and Ren, and the township government is stationed in zesangduo (first, it has jurisdiction over lalai, xiabuxiakou, eruma, Luobao, langduo, Quba, Yongzhu and ren). Shenzha Town, Shenzha County, Naqu Prefecture is a township under the jurisdiction of Shenzha county. The township was established in 1961, the commune was changed in 1972, the township was rebuilt in 1982, and the former Shenzha Township, Xingong Township and Yuzhu Township were merged to build Shenzha Township in 1988. The township government is stationed in zesangduo, with an area of 3530.01 square kilometers and a population of 2464 (2017).
