Laosiping town

Laosiping Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changtu County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Changtu County, bordering Siping City in Jilin Province in the East, Maojiadian town and Chaoyang town in the south, pinganbao town in the West and Lishu County in Jilin Province in the north, with an administrative area of 82 square kilometers.

In 1945, it was called Laosiping township; in 1991, it was changed into Laosiping town. By the end of 2018, the population of old Siping town registered residence was 21547. As of June 2020, Laosiping town has four communities, nine administrative villages and one village level unit.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Laosiping town was 11.7 million yuan. Among them, the national tax revenue is 6.56 million yuan and the local tax revenue is 4.75 million yuan, accounting for 98% of the fiscal revenue.
