De'an township is located in the north of Ning'er County, facing Jingxing township of Mojiang County across the river in the East, Mohei town in the south, Zhengxing town of Jinggu County in the West and Meizi Township in the north. The Cultural Village (manbie Street) of township government is 57 km away from the county and 26 km away from national highway 213 (Kunluo line).
