Changtu town
Changtu town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changtu County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Changtu County, adjacent to Lianhua town of Kaiyuan city in the East, old town in the west, Chengdong town in the South and Quantou town in the north, with an administrative area of 198 square kilometers.
Changtu town, formerly known as Erdaogou, was changed to Changtu town in 1962. In January 2002, Changtu Station and Manjing Township were merged into Changtu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Changtu town was 126987. As of June 2020, Changtu town has 23 communities and 17 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Changtu town was 80.6 million yuan. The general budget revenue is 63 million yuan. In 2018, there were 55 industrial enterprises in Changtu town, including 9 above scale enterprises and 238 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Changtu town was formerly known as Erdaogou.
In 1904, the Russo Japanese war broke out. After Japan obtained the privilege of South Manchuria Railway from Russia, it was called Changtu Station.
In 1962, Changtu town was changed.
In January 2002, Changtu Station and Manjing Township were merged into Changtu town.
